Affiliated Kindergarten manages the current nationwide kindergarten curriculum suggested by Ministry of Education and Human
Resource Development. It values each child's interest and experience. It supports all children to develop their full potentials by
playing in natural environments.

Educational Goals

develop active problem-solving attitudes in daily life.

Half Day Program

All education methods are centered on plays and activities that may differ in accordance to age. We stress the importance of daily life manner education as the ground of morality and implement the practice of reading books at home through a book lending program. We also help children feel familiar and close to nature by providing them the chance to raise animals and plants. As an enhanced education, the focus is placed on the five senses education through activities for the class of three year old children. In the class of four year old children, the five senses education and multi culture education; multi cultural education is highlighted for the class of five year old children, as well. (Class organization is subject to change.)

Full Day Program

Children with working mothers can receive high quality education from a half day class of same age group in the morning, and from a full day class of mixed-age group in the afternoon. A full day class, scheduled to be over at 6 pm, is centered on the notion or concept of oriented education and project approach method. (Class organization is subject to change.)

Activities

Affiliated Kindergarten educates young children according to the units based not only on the children's developmental stage, interest and necessity, but also on the kindergarten curriculum provided by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development. Children can reorganize their experience through play, and can also learn through group activities.

Free Choice Activities

Free choice activity time is an active, child-managed period played both indoors and outdoors. As indicated in current kindergarten curriculum, play is the most ideal way for children to learn in early childhood. Enriched play environment promotes the balanced child development including intellectual, physical, social, lingual, emotional, and creative abilities.
